Mike Barrett — Cave Creek plumber since 2007.
I grew up right here in north Scottsdale. I got my start in the plumbing trade back in 2007, when I was 20 years old. My first years were spent running rough-in plumbing on massive custom estates off Pinnacle Peak Rd and out toward Desert Mountain. I learned early on that plumbing out here in the desert isn't the same as plumbing in a standard Phoenix subdivision. We deal with caliche, extreme heat, extreme water hardness, and homes that are miles away from municipal water and sewer lines. It requires a different kind of expertise, a different set of materials, and a plumber who is willing to put in the hard work every single day.
I started my own company in 2014. I didn't want to buy into a massive franchise model where technicians are pressured to hit daily sales quotas. I intentionally kept this company small. Good plumbers, honest work, and real accountability. When my name is on the company, my reputation is on the line with every job. If you hire a franchise, you might get a different person every time you call. When you hire my company, you get consistency and someone who actually remembers your home's unique plumbing quirks. That kind of personalized service is rare these days, but it's the foundation of everything we do.
I care about doing the job right. I'll tell you if something doesn't actually need replacing. I'll physically show you the failed part so you understand what went wrong. I use high-quality materials — the kind of parts you could go buy yourself at any professional supply house if you ever needed warranty work, rather than proprietary parts that force you to call me back. I want my plumbing repairs to outlast my career, and I take immense pride in leaving a job site cleaner than I found it. You won't find muddy footprints or discarded parts left behind.
This area is my home. On a Friday night, you might find me at Harold's Cave Creek Corral or the Buffalo Chip Saloon. I know the route of the Rodeo Days parade down Cave Creek Rd, and I've pulled countless permits at the Cave Creek Town Hall. I'm a proud member of the Carefree Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce, and I know exactly what it takes to keep the water flowing in this unique desert community. My neighbors are my customers, and I treat them with the respect they deserve.
My philosophy is simple: The work either holds up or it doesn't. I'd rather lose a sale today than have you call me about a callback in three months. I am Fully Licensed & Insured, and to make things easy, we accept Cash, Check, Credit Card, and have Financing Available. Check our services to see how we can help. If you want a plumber who shoots straight and does phenomenal work, I'm your guy. Reach out anytime, and I'll make sure you're taken care of.
