Troon North: Tankless Water Heater Descale & Valve Install
The Problem: A Navien NPE-240A2 was throwing error codes. The home had 18 GPG water hardness and the homeowner didn't know when the unit was last flushed. The heat exchanger was approximately 70% blocked with severe calcium scale build-up.
The Solution: We installed new isolation service valves, which the previous installer omitted. We then performed a full hour-long chemical descale, clearing the heat exchanger and restoring full hot water flow without replacing the expensive unit.
Desert Hills: Well Pressure Tank Replacement
The Problem: A homeowner on a 2.5-acre property had extremely erratic water pressure. The well pump was cycling on and off every 4 seconds, putting immense strain on the well pump motor, which could have led to a catastrophic failure.
The Solution: We diagnosed a failed internal bladder in the pressure tank (waterlogged tank). We replaced the pressure tank with a high-capacity steel unit and installed a new pressure switch, properly calibrating the drawdown cycle.
Downtown Cave Creek: Slab Leak Detection & Attic Reroute
The Problem: The water bill spiked, and the homeowner heard running water under the master bedroom, which had custom flagstone flooring that would have been incredibly expensive to replace.
The Solution: Using electronic acoustic leak detection, we pinpointed the exact location of the leaking copper line under the slab. Instead of jackhammering the flagstone, we abandoned the underground pipe and ran a new PEX bypass line through the attic, saving the floors entirely.
Tatum Ranch: Whole-Home Water Softener & RO Install
The Problem: The homeowner was tired of white scale destroying their showerheads and the chlorine taste of the city water. Testing confirmed 18 GPG hardness, which is extremely detrimental to home appliances.
The Solution: We utilized the existing plumbing loop in the garage to install a high-capacity water softener featuring a reliable Clack WS1 valve. Inside, we installed a 5-stage Reverse Osmosis system under the kitchen sink for perfect drinking water.
Carefree: Monsoon Backflow Prevention
The Problem: During an intense August monsoon, the main sewer backed up into the home's ground-floor bathtubs, causing a messy and unhygienic disaster.
The Solution: A camera inspection revealed heavy root intrusion at a clay pipe joint, which caught the storm debris. We cleared the roots with a hydro-jetter and installed a backflow preventer on the sewer main to ensure municipal surges can never enter the home again.
New River: Pack Rat PEX Repair & Copper Retrofit
The Problem: Water was leaking through the ceiling. Pack rats had found their way into the attic and chewed the PEX water lines to get water, a common issue in this desert environment.
